Cleveland has two programs – traditional English classrooms and Dual Language classrooms.
In our traditional English classroom, students are instructed in English throughout the entire day, with the exception of a 45-minute special once per week called World Language. During this time, the students learn Spanish. Students in the traditional English classes spend the bulk of the day with the same teacher.
In our Dual Language program, students receive their core academic subjects half the day in English and the other half of the day in Spanish. Our classrooms have a mix of English-dominant and Spanish-dominant students who work together to learn content in two languages, English and Spanish.
